Vauxhall Head Office Creative Illuminated Print Installation

Vauxhall Motors is one of the oldest car manufacturers in Britain, with a history dating back more than 100 years. The first car to bear the Vauxhall name was manufactured in 1903 and the company has since gone on to produce some of the UK’s most popular vehicles.

Barrisol Welch was invited to complete a special Barrisol illuminated print installation at the Vauxhall head offices in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Barrisol Creative Lighting

This bespoke Barrisol lighting installation consisted of four Barrisol stretch panels and lighting. Two translucent panels with control lighting for the reception area and stairs and two printed translucent panels for the staff breakout areas.

Barrisol Installations

We used Barrisol Blanc Venus 04011 with BS 350/01 aluminium track for the reception area panels, and installed hybrid (2700k – 6000k) LED lighting that could be dimmed to suit any colour temperature and ensure appropriate lighting levels to the entrance of the building.

For the breakout areas, we again used Barrisol Blanc Venus 04011. This time the panels incorporated sky images from the Barrisol printing range with white LED lighting to provide a bright and vibrant finish.

To accommodate the printed panels and add depth to the Barrisol ceiling, we used a BS 355/15 aluminium track. The additional depth meant we were able to space the LED lighting more suitably to allow for perfectly even lighting across the panels.
