Serious About SafetyBarrisol Welch Health and Safety

At Barrisol Welch we take health and safety very seriously.

All Barrisol stretch sheets conform 100% with CE legislations. They are produced without Phthalate and are guaranteed to not have Mercury, Cadmium or Arsenic present. The sheets are all fire rated, following the European and International norms (BS1-D0, BS2-D0).

Barrisol stretched ceilings are also class A+ for indoor air quality. Safety tests completed by French, English and American laboratories confirm that Barrisol products do not present any risk to health during installation or to the final customer.

Barrisol Installations

Barrisol Welch complete detailed site surveys before every Barrisol installation. Each site survey covers the required site PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), onsite rules, high-level access procedures, potential obstructions and the cleanliness of the install area so your stretch materials don’t get damaged or dirty.

Before the first fix and second fix installs take place, we will produce a site-specific risk assessment and method statement which is shared with the main contractor or client. Once these are confirmed as satisfactory we make sure all of the engineers have a copy of them to take to site.

All of our engineers hold valid CSCS cards and have the relevant training needed to be on sites. They also have  PASMA certificates to confirm they are able to erect and disassemble scaffold towers as well as IPAF certificates to confirm they are able to control powered access such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers.

Barrisol Welch and the Welch Services Group have a number of safety certifications including CHAS, NSI and NICEIC. All of the above certificates and documentation can be provided to any main contractor or company when we complete the subcontractor questionnaires.
