OnePlus 7 Series Global Project Launch, London Printworks
Barrisol Welch were recently involved in the global product launch of the new OnePlus 7 smartphone at the Printworks in London. Read on to find out the part we played in the launch event.

Project Background
OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. commonly referred as OnePlus, is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
The company was founded by Pete Lau (CEO) and Carl Pei in December 2013 and officially serves 34 countries and regions around the world. They have released numerous phones, among other products.
What The Client Wanted
OnePlus were launching their new smartphone range, the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 simultaneously in London, New York and Bangalore on May 14th 2019, with the London launch venue being held at The Printworks.
Production Partner Sparq (part of the Savile Group) had an extremely tight schedule to meet from the client, with London being the biggest launch out of all 3 locations. With 650 guest attending as well as 350 invited media in attendance, the launch was broadcast live across the globe on social media platforms.
31 lightboxes were required, with installation 1 day before the launch that would reveal the new OnePlus 7 pro and Oneplus 7 to the world.
From the official order being placed to delivery, Barrisol Welch had just 2 week’s to complete the design, fabrication and installation.

Our Solution – Delivered Successfully In Just 2 Weeks
Never one to shy away from a tight deadline, all design and fabrication took place fully in-house, allowing us to meet the clients tight 2 week time frame.
31 lightboxes were manufactured by us to exact specifications. The 3m x 2m, 180mm depth frames were sprayed to the clients Pantone Colour and sheen. 1120 meters of LED’s were installed and tested, 2 lightboxes with RGB colour, using Barrisol track system + Translucent Mercure 04017 membrane/sheet which has 52% Light transmission, Class 0 (zero) fire rating.
Special thanks to Jean-Marc Scherrer (President of Barrisol) for assistance with the fast delivery of the required Mercure sheets within 24 hours.
Barrisol Welch completed and delivered all 31 lightboxes to site on Sunday 12th May, which were fully installed by Monday 13th May, ready for the global launch which took place on 14th May.

The new OnePlus 7 is expected to retail at around £499 and should be available to buy here in the UK in June 2019.
